Enabling climate-sensitive approaches in conflict prevention and peacebuilding efforts

In 2025, the U.S. Department of State and USAID developed the Climate Fragility Programming Resource Guide to help conflict-prevention and stabilization teams assess and act on compound climate–fragility risks. Overpin Analytics & Advisory founders led the guide’s creation and coordination, bringing together authors and reviewers across agencies and field partners to produce a practical playbook that links peacebuilding, climate resilience, and program design. We managed the process end-to-end—from framing the theory of change to curating case examples and toolkits—and translated lessons into step-by-step programming approaches. We then supported implementation through workshops and field-facing briefs that helped teams integrate the guidance into program designs and early roll-outs.
