Exploring alternative financing mechanisms for reforestation projects

Overpin Analytics & Advisory led research on reforestation and sustainable land use in Nigeria on behalf of the Nigerian Sovereign Investment Authority. We analyzed how carbon markets may be able to finance local restoration projects. We developed frameworks that had an eye towards balancing economic opportunity with ecosystem restoration, ensuring climate solutions are both equitable and durable.
